Shipping
We charge a flat shipping fee of $6.95. Orders totaling $69.95 or more, after discounts and excluding sales tax, are eligible for Free Shipping.
Current Shipping Regions
We ship orders exclusively to the contiguous United States (48 adjoining U.S. states and the District of Columbia). We are diligently working with postal services to expand our shipping reach to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO, DPO, and other North American destinations.
Delivery Time
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days and shipped via trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Delivery time estimates are provided by the carriers. During high-volume periods or unexpected events, delivery times may be slightly longer.
Lost or Damaged Orders
Please ensure you provide the correct shipping address. Incorrect addresses may result in lost packages or additional shipping charges. In the unlikely event of an order being lost or damaged due to unforeseen reasons, the carrier conducts a comprehensive investigation. Please contact Scented Meadow after ten business days of your order being shipped to initiate a claim. Please allow three to four weeks for the processing of such claims.
Stolen Packages
Scented Meadow is not responsible for packages that have been confirmed as delivered by the carrier but are subsequently reported as stolen or missing from the delivery location. Once a carrier marks a shipment as delivered, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.
If your package has been stolen, we recommend taking the following steps:
- Verify the delivery location — check with neighbors, building management, or other household members, as packages are sometimes placed in an alternate secure spot.
- File a theft report with your carrier — contact USPS at usps.com or 1-800-ASK-USPS, UPS at ups.com or 1-800-742-5877, or FedEx at fedex.com or 1-800-463-3339.
- File a police report — package theft is a federal offense. A police report on file may assist in recovering your loss.
- Contact your credit card provider or homeowner’s/renter’s insurance — many policies include coverage for stolen packages.
To minimize the risk of theft, we strongly encourage customers to provide a secure delivery address at checkout, such as a workplace or a location where someone will be present to receive the package. Scented Meadow is not liable for stolen packages when delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
Packaging and Shipping Precautions
We exercise utmost care in picking, packing, and protecting your items during order processing. We utilize packaging materials like bubble wrap for added protection during transit. However, it is important to note that the item’s packaging or cellophane wrap may occasionally show signs of minor wear and tear due to the transportation process, which does not affect the authenticity or quality of the product.
For order discrepancies or items in less pristine condition, please contact Scented Meadow within five days of receiving the order. We carefully evaluate each case and strive to resolve any issues promptly and to your satisfaction.
